The UPCEA 100th Annual Conference in Washington, DC was a huge success and included quality interaction with Augusoft’s current customers and future prospects. The continuing education team from University of Central Oklahoma enjoyed our hospitality event that was co-sponsored with World Education.net (provider of over 1000 courses).
The recurring theme from participants at the Augusoft booth was “doing more with less personnel” and “merging programs.” Lumens not only offers a system that manages courses and enrollments for continuing education and contract training (the most common scenario), it also allows extended learning programs to merge into one registration system with separate financial reports. The Lumens system can offer multiple catalogs on the home page that quickly directs people to the program of choice, whether teacher training, seniors program (OLLI), special speaker events, continuing education for health professionals, or community open enrollment classes. This “one stop” for all programs is becoming increasingly popular with continuing education leaders.
