MnSCU Completes Training and First Stage of Augusoft Lumens Implementation

Augusoft announced today it has completed training for all the customized and continuing education programs throughout the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system as part of its Lumens Campus Adoption Program (LCAP).

In July 2010, MnSCU selected Lumens, a web-hosted enrollment management system, to offer online self-registration and additional management capabilities to run all its non-credit continuing education and career training programs throughout the system. To date, 17 of the 31 MnSCU institutions (including five pilot schools that previously implemented Lumens) have currently implemented Lumens. The remaining schools are scheduled to complete implementation by January of 2012.

The adoption of Lumens throughout the MnSCU system is a large project with many moving parts. With the help of Augusoft, we have met all our milestones to date and are on track to complete implementation as scheduled. Our continuing education programs that have implemented Lumens have experienced immediate improvements in online enrollment figures, revenue and customer service. We look forward to having Lumens fully up and running at all our institutions later this year,” said Mary Rothchild, Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning, Academic and Student Affairs Division, Office of the Chancellor.
