Minneapolis, Minn. – July 7, 2005 – August Enterprises, Inc. announced its new name, Augusoft, Inc. at the Business Journal Minority Business Awards Reception held in Minneapolis, Minn., on June 23, 2005. During the reception, President and CEO Cem Erdem was recognized as one of the Twin Cities’ top minority business owners for making a difference in his profession, the local business community and the community at large. Erdem commented, “I am proud to be part of this fine group of business owners and share our news with the community and local media. Our new name and corporate identity represents the significant change the company has undergone during the past decade and efforts to take the company to the next level.”
The Augusoft name and corporate ID will be slowly incorporated into various product branding strategies, the new website at www.augusoft.net and corporate marketing mediums. The core values of the company will not change. Rather, the long established values of Augusoft will be re-emphasized through the Lumens product brand identity.
“The new corporate name and identity was specifically designed to give the company a clear strong direction among national and international audiences, while complementing an already successful Lumens product brand. Our new name will not only continue to communicate trust, but will streamline communications. It will build company awareness, familiarity and become one of our most critical corporate assets,” stated Director of Marketing Beth Moorhead.
Lumens, an Augusoft innovation, is the first entirely web-based, customizable Lifelong Learning Management System and has been providing non-credit lifelong learning programs, Internet/Web-based software products and services since 1994.
