The 13th Annual Augusoft Lumens User Summit has come and gone! Last week, the well-attended user summit was held at the Hilton in Baltimore for two days filled with numerous in-depth Lumens learning sessions presented by our Augusoft industry experts, our partner Genoo and several exemplary Lumens users.

Cem Erdem, Augusoft President and CEO, kicked-off the user summit with introductions and a company update. Sessions the next two days included a dive into key Lumens features, industry best practices, user’s choice of round table discussions, hands-on collaborative sharing of program’s successes, and the awards presentation.

A common highlight for attendees is hearing about proven strategies and techniques from their fellow colleagues. We were fortunate to have several guest speakers, which included: Kim Albee & Margaret Johnson of Genoo, Beverly Hawker & Marie Price of North Idaho College, Debbie Sagen of Pikes Peak Community College, Dianne Smrdel & Kristi Flack of Northeast Iowa Community College, Jessica Janssen of Chippewa Valley Technical College and Amy Lasack of Kirkwood Community College.

Beyond the learning sessions, attendees were able to have candid conversations throughout many social events. Each day included a group breakfast and lunch, and there also was an off-site dining experience at Aldo’s in Little Italy and the signature afternoon Chocolate Break.

As the User Summit concluded, attendees departed eager to return home and implement what they all learned. We are already looking forward to next year’s event held at the Hilton in Portland, Oregon, November 14-15th, 2017. We hope to see you there!
