Another Summit Success

Minneapolis, Minn. – November 29, 2017 – Another successful user summit is in the books! We had Lumens users join us from all over the U.S. and Canada for the 14th Annual Augusoft Lumens User Summit held at the Hilton Portland Downtown, November 14-15. The two-day summit provided in-depth Lumens knowledge sessions, user’s choice of round table discussions, an open-floor Q & A session: “Ask Your Colleagues”, customer-success sessions, the awards presentation and several networking opportunities.

We listened to last year’s feedback and incorporated several new features at this year’s summit. We offered exclusive 1:1 meetings with Augusoft staff, more customer showcases, and round table discussions both days and more concurrent sessions.

In addition to the learning sessions, there were many social events which gave attendees an opportunity for more conversation. Each day included a complimentary continental breakfast, lunch and several breaks. There was also an off-site dinner at Jake’s Catering at Sentinel and the signature afternoon Chocolate Break.

Witnessing stories of proven strategies and techniques from fellow colleagues is always as inspirational as it is rejuvenating amongst summit attendees. A big thank you to our partner and customer showcase presenters: Kim Albee of Genoo, Ashley Carniglia of Cabrillo College, Amy Fleshner of Parkland Community College, Brenda Ireland of Kirkwood Community College, Alicia West of Central New Mexico Community College, Angela Myers of Iowa Lakes Community College, Katie Butler and Bob Whitney of the Virginia Community College System, Srdjan Golub of Hawkeye Community College, Barb Dickson of Santa Barbara City College – Center for Lifelong Learning, Kristin Barker of Columbus State University and Lindsay Marshall and Tanya Kapko of Edmonton Public Schools – Metro Continuing Education.

Each year we like to recognize Lumens users for key awards. Congratulations to the following for the well-deserved awards:
